This is petition for grant of regular bail. Case is for the offence under Sections 302/148/149 IPC.
Deceased in this case is Raju and Balwant Singh is the complainant.
Counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner is in custody for the last more than one and half year and that he is attributed only lalkara. It is argued that there are as many as 10 accused in this case.
On behalf of the State, it is stated that the injuries are attributed CRL.M.No.66247-M of 2006 #2#
to the present petitioner having been caused by him to the deceased. It is further stated that the challan has been presented and the trial has started.
Next date fixed before the trial Court is 18.12.2006.
After hearing counsel for the parties, it is directed that the trial Court shall hold expeditious trial of the case and if the trial is not completed within a period of six months from the next date fixed by the trial Court for no fault of the petitioner then he shall be released on bail by the trial Court to its satisfaction.
With this observation, petition stands disposed of.
