This is petition for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 & 3 to decide the application of the petitioner for parole.
According to the petitioner, he is confined in Central Jail, Ambala. He had made an application for parole to respondent No.2 i.e Superintendent, Central Jail, Ambala, who forwarded the same to respondents No.1 & 3 vide dispatch No.15916-17 dated 2.10.2006 but it has not been decided so far.
Counsel for the petitioner argues that such applications should have been decided within a period of 36 days in all as per instructions of the State Government.

On the asking of the Court, Sh. Y.P. Malik, AAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice.
After hearing counsel for the parties, it is directed that the application of the petitioner for parole shall be decided by the respondents within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
With this observation, petition stands disposed of.
