Raunak Ali v. State of Haryana and Ors - CRM-64354-M-2006 RD-P&H 10981 (21 November 2006)
CRL.M.No.64354-M of 2006
DATE OF ORDER:29.11.2006
State of Haryana and Others
CORUM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.M. AGGARWAL .*.*.*.
Present: Mr. Surender Deswal, Advocate.
Mr. Y.P. Malik, AAG, Haryana.
This is a petition for emergency parole and for issuance of direction to respondents to decide the emergency parole application of the petitioner.
Petitioner is stated to be confined in Central Jail, Ambala.
According to the petitioner, his brother had died on 31.8.2006.
He made application for emergency parole to the respondents but no action has been taken.
Reply on behalf of the State has been filed to the effect that the petitioner is involved in as many as seven other cases. However, from that CRL.M.No.64354-M of 2006 #2#
reply, it would come out that the petitioner was convicted on 16.5.2005 and has not availed of any parole so far. As per the reply, petitioner is on bail in all other cases.
I find it a fit case, where some parole should be granted to the petitioner.
Two weeks' parole is granted to the petitioner on filing bonds to the satisfaction of the District Magistrate concerned.
Petition stands disposed of.
