PRESENT: Mr. Sarjit Singh,Sr. Adv., with Mr. Vikas Singh,
Advocate, for the petitioners.
Mr. R.S.Longia, Advocate, for the applicant.
JUDGMENT:
This application has been moved with a prayer that the writ petition, in view of dropping of land acquisition proceedings, which were in dispute in this writ petition, has become infructuous and the same be disposed of as such. Counsel for the applicant (respondent No. 2 in the writ petition) has placed on record a photostat copy of the letter to show that the acquisition of land, which was subject matter of this writ petition, has since been withdrawn. In view of specific averment made, this Court is of the view that the present writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, C.W.P. No. 1828 of 2004 is taken on board and the same is dismissed as having become infructuous.
