The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing of complaint filed by respondent No.2 under Sections 406/498-A IPC as well as the summoning order dated 9.3.2006, passed by Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Ludhiana, along with all the subsequent proceedings.

Counsel for the petitioners contends that during the pendency of this petition, the parties have compromised the matter and the complainant has already made a statement before the trial court, copy of which has been annexed as Annexure R-6. He further submits that in view of the fact that the matter has been compromised by the parties and the complainant has already made statement before the trial court, the petitioners do not want to press this petition with liberty to raise the point of compromise before the trial court, where the complainant has already made statement.

Dismissed as not pressed with the aforesaid liberty.
