The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C.
for quashing of an FIR No. 339 dated 1.10.2004 under Sections 406/420 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Patiala.
It has been informed by the State counsel that in this case not only charge has been framed but the case is now fixed for prosecution witnesses.
In view of the said fact, counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition with a liberty to raise all the points raised in the petition at the appropriate stage of trial. He further prays that the trial Court be also directed to expedite the trial.
Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
However, trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
