Date of Decision: 01.12.2006

Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited and others ...Respondents
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.M. KUMAR
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE M.M.S. BEDI
PRESENT: Mr. Ranjit Saini, Advocate,
for the petitioners.
M.M. KUMAR, J. (Oral)
The instant petition is directed against the order dated 4.2.2004 showing that respondent Nos. 4 to 11 have been given deemed date of promotion earlier to the date of promotion of the petitioners. On the basis of the aforementioned deemed date of promotion, a tentative seniority list showing the petitioners junior to respondent Nos. 4 to 11 has been circulated (P-5). The name of the petitioners in the tentative seniority list has been shown at Sr. Nos. 13 and 18 respectively whereas the names of respondent Nos. 4 to 11 C.W.P. No. 18997 of 2006
appears at Sr. Nos. 4, 5, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 respectively. It is obvious that against the tentative seniority list objections have been invited and the petitioners are stated to have not filed any objection, which were required to be filed within one month from the date of issue of that letter. It is stated before us that the tentative seniority list has not been finalised as yet. If that be so then the petitioners may file objections against the tentative seniority list within two weeks from today and the same shall be considered in accordance with law by passing a reasoned speaking order by respondent No. 2.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
