The prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is to issue direction to decide the appeal dated 20.7.2006 (Annexure P8) filed by the petitioner which is pending consideration before the Director Senior Secondary Education, Haryana, 30 Bays Building, Sector 17-C, Chandigarh. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to take cognizance of the appeal and decide the same within a reasonable time.

Mr.Harish Rathee, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Hayana, who is present in the Court, accepts notice on the asking of the Court. Two copies of the writ petition have been handed over to him. He has no objection if time bound direction for disposal of the appeal dated 20.7.2006 (Annexure P8) is issued to the respondent No.2.
In view of the above, writ petition is disposed by directing the respondent No.2 to take up the appeal filed by the petitioner and decide the same, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order.
