Jagrup Singh v. Balwinder Kaur - RSA-1848-2002 RD-P&H 1149 (24 February 2006)
REGULAR SECOND APPEAL NO. 1848 of 2002
DATE OF DECISION: February 28, 2006.
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JASBIR SINGH
PRESENT: Mr. S.C. Khunger,
Advocate, for the appellant.
Respondent Balwinder Kaur filed a suit for recovery of Rs.
5,00,000/- claiming compensation, for murder of her son by the appellant- defendant. Trial Court granted a very meagre amount of Rs.
72,000/- to her. Appellant failed in appeal. This Court feels that the amount granted is on the very lower side. So far as death caused by the appellant is concerned, the same stands proved on record. No case is made out for interference in pure findings of facts, as no substantial question of law has been raised at the time of arguments. Dismissed.
