At the outset Sh. Ashish Rawal, learned counsel appearing for the respondents has produced before the Court a communication from the Assistant Controller (F&A) Rents, Chandigarh Administration, Chandigarh addressed to the Director, Police Telecommunication, Head quarter Punjab, Chandigarh intimating that petitioner No.2-Jaspal Singh has since vacated the house in question on August 24, 2004 and no further dues are outstanding against the petitioner.
The aforesaid communication is taken on record as Annexure-A.
On the basis of the aforesaid communication, learned counsel for the respondents states that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and be disposed of accordingly.
In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
