Joint written statement on behalf of respondent Nos. 1, 3, 4 and 5 has been handed over to us in Court today. The same is taken on record.
Copy thereof has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the respondents states that the entire claim of the petitioner for release of pensionary benefits, as has been raised by him in the instant writ petition, has been accepted and payment in token thereof has been released to the petitioner. So as to authenticate the aforesaid factual position, learned counsel for the respondents has invited our attention to Annexure R-1 appended to the joint written statement.
In view of the above, we are satisfied that the instant writ petition has been rendered infructuous. The same is, accordingly, disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
