This petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing selection and appointment of respondent Nos. 3 and 4. A further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to consider and appoint the petitioner in place of respondent Nos. 3 and 4 for the post of Laboratory Technician in the category of Orthopaedically Handicapped along with all consequential benefits.

For the relief claimed in the instant petition, the petitioner has already sent a representation dated 3.11.2006 to the respondents.
Without going into the merits of the case, we deem it just and appropriate to direct the respondents to take cognizance of the aforementioned representation sent by the petitioner and decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented to them. It shall be appreciated if a speaking order is passed.
Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
