Husband Rajesh Kumar has handed over two bank drafts dated December 4, 2006 for the amount of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rs.1 lac + Rs.50,000/-) drawn on Syndicate Bank payable in favour of Smt.Hemlata. The aforesaid bank drafts have been handed over to Smt.Hemlata in Court.

Smt. Hemlata, the wife on receipt of the aforesaid bank drafts has stated that she has accepted the aforesaid amount as full and final settlement of all her matrimonial claims arising out of the present appeal and henceforth shall have no further claims against the respondent husband in any manner. The appellant wife further states that in view of the full and final settlement of the matrimonial claims, the present appeal may be dismissed as withdrawn and the decree of divorce dated January 31, 2000 passed by the Additional District Judge, Narnaul be maintained. Smt. Hemlata has further stated that she will withdraw the criminal revision which has already been filed by her challenging the acquittal of the respondent husband in proceedings under Sections 498-A/406 IPC.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the appellant, the present appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.

The appellant shall remain bound by her statement.
