Petitioner, who is confined in Central Jail, Ambala had applied for parole for agricultural purposes. Request was declined on the report of District Magistrate, Karnal that the petitioner does not own land and the parole cannot be granted.
On behalf of the petitioner, it is argued that Ishwar Singh, father of the petitioner has land.
Petitioner is stated to be in custody since February 2005 and is stated to have not availed of any parole.
I find it a fit case where some parole should be granted.

Two weeks' parole is granted to the petitioner on filing bonds to the satisfaction of the District Magistrate concerned.
Petition stands disposed of.
