JUDGMENT
M.M.KUMAR, J. (ORAL)
Notice of the application. Mr.S.K.Bhanot, Senior Deputy Advocate General Punjab, who is present in the Court, accepted notice.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties, I am of the view that the writ petition infact stood disposed of vide order 18.5.2005 followed by order dated 24.5.2005. The subsequent order passed in C.M.No.1096 of 2006, however, makes clear that no clarification of the aforementioned orders was required and the direction issued is that the order already passed has to be complied with by the non-applicant-respondent State. It was on the instructions of Mr.R.P.Purthi, Under Secretary, that on 18.10.2006 learned State counsel has made a statement that the needful was to be done within four weeks from the date of order dated 18.10.2006. It appears that C.M.No.19852 of 2006 in 2
C.W.P.No.11664 of 2000
inadvertently the words that the petition and the application stand disposed of, were not added in any of the orders dated 18.5.2005 and 24.5.2005.
Therefore, it should now be understood that the C.M.No.1096 of 2006 as well as writ petition stand disposed of.
Copy of this order be given to the learned counsel for the applicant dasti on payment of usual charges.
