On the asking of Court, Shri Sukhdip Singh Brar, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 and 2 to renew the licence of the petitioner as a Typist in Tehsil Complex at Patiala without charging any compound charges. According to the petitioner, he is not using the Govt. land and had purchased the booth from the Govt.
We have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have also gone through the averments made in the present petition.
Without commenting on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed and comprehensive representation before the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, respondent No.2 making the claim which the petitioner has made before this Court. If any such representation is filed by the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is received, the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala, respondent No.2 shall take a final decision thereupon within a further period of four months from the date of filing of the representation, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
