PRESENT: Shri Rajesh Gupta, Advocate for the petitioner.
The petitioner claims that her son Vinod had died in a custodial death while in illegal custody of respondents No.3 to 8. In these circumstances, the petitioner has claimed a compensation of Rs.25 lacs on account of the aforesaid alleged custodial death.
After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the various pleas raised by the petitioner in the present petition, we find that the pleas raised by the petitioner can only be adjudicated on production of evidence.
In this view of the matter, we dispose of the present petition and relegate the petitioner to seek her remedies before the Civil Court, if so advised.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
