The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents to make the payment of the works executed by the petitioner.
From the perusal of the record, we find that a legal notice dated September 2,2005 (Annexure P.1) has been issued by the petitioner which remains unresponded so far.
In this view of the matter, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Executive Engineer, Bathinda Canal Division, Bathinda, respondent No.3 to take a final decision on the aforesaid legal notice (Annexure P.1) within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order and take such further appropriate action, as may be required, in accordance with law.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
