The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents to renew the arms licence of the petitioner. It has been claimed by the petitioner that an application has been filed for renewal of the aforesaid arms licence but no action has been taken in this regard so far.
Keeping in view the pleas raised by the petitioner in the present petition but without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Panipat to take a final decision on the aforesaid application, if pending, filed by the petitioner within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
