CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURYA KANT.
SURYA KANT, J. (ORAL)
Reply/affidavits have been filed on behalf of respondents No.2 and 3. Respondent No.1 has already filed his affidavit.
After going through the contents of these affidavits, it appears that for the time being suitable action has been taken by the official respondents to stop unauthorized and illegal construction in different urban estates of Faridabad. However, besides the close and periodical monitoring by the District Administration, demolition of the unauthorized constructions, imposition of exemplary costs and fine/penalties and a public awareness campaign are some of the effective steps which will have to be undertaken by the respondents to ensure that no further illegal/unauthorized construction is carried out and those who have already succeeded in raising the same, are deprived of the enjoyment thereof in accordance with law.
With these observations and directions, this contempt petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to get the same revived if he comes across that notwithstanding these directions, some illegal/unauthorized constructions are still taking place in the area concerned.
Let a copy of this order be handed over to learned Advocate General, Haryana for information and necessary compliance by the Authorities.
