C.O.C.P.No.470 of 2005
This contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful breach of the interim order dated December 9, 2003 passed by this Court in C.W.P.No.19071 of 2003.
It is averred that the petitioners were not permitted to perform their duties from January 2005 to June 2005 and as such have not been paid their wages for the said period. The petitioners, however, are stated to have been allowed to resume their duties after June, 2005 and since then are working as such.
In response to the show cause notice, respondent No.1 has filed an affidavit in which it is averred that in January, 2005 when the petitioners were allegedly denied employment, he was not posted as DFO, Ferozepur.
Be that as it may, in view of the fact that the petitioners are now stated to have been allowed to resume their work, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to claim the arrears of wages, if any, for the above-stated disputed period at the time of final disposal of the writ petition.
