One Bhupinder Pal sent a telegram to this Court, which was received on 18.8.2006, alleging therein that two persons, namely, Varinder Kumar and Prince Kumar sons of late Naresh Pal were arrested on 7.8.2006 in case FIR No. 219 registered under Section 498- A/506/406/342/120-B IPC but were not produced before the Ilaqa Magistrate within 24 hours.

Pursuant to the notice issued, reply on behalf of respondent- State has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on record. In the reply, it has been stated that Varinder Kumar and Prince Kumar were arrested in the aforesaid case on 9.8.2006 and produced before the Ilaqa Magistrate on 10.8.2006 and their one day police remand was obtained.

They were again produced before the Court on 11.8.2006 and police remand upto 12.8.2006 was obtained. On 12.8.2006, they were again produced before the Court and were sent in judicial custody.

In view of the aforesaid reply, no further direction is required to be issued.

Dismissed.
