The solitary grievance of the petitioner is, that the petitioner preferred an appeal in furtherance of a direction issued by this Court in an earlier writ petition filed by him (Civil Writ Petition No. 15948 of 2003), on 14.02.2005. Despite the pendency of the aforesaid appeal for a period of more than 1-1/2 years, no decision has been taken by the respondents.
Notice of motion.
On our asking, Mr. Ashok Aggarwal, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. Learned counsel for the respondents states, that in case the appeal preferred by the CWP No.20224 of 2006 2
petitioner in furtherance of the direction issued by this Court in Civil Writ Petition No. 15948 of 2003, has already not been decided, the same will be decided within two months from today.
Disposed of in view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents.
