This is second petition filed by Ajit Singh alias Jeet for the grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 232 dated 19.10.2005 under Sections 395/397/412 IPC and Section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Tauru, Gurgaon. His earlier petition was dismissed by this court on September 29, 2006.
I have heard counsel for the parties and gone through the contents of the FIR.
In this case, 203 bags of synthetic rubber (robbed property) was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is also facing other cases of similar nature in Delhi.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner at this stage.
However, it will be open for the petitioner to approach again after examination of the recovery witnesses. Trial court is also directed to expedite the trial.
