Through the instant writ petition, the petitioners have impugned the show cause notice dated 7.2.2006 issued to petitioner No.1 under section 12 of the Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restrictions of Unregulated Development Act, 1963. It is not possible for us to accept the challenge to a show cause notice. Not only has the petitioner an opportunity to represent his claim before the Authority, which has issued a show cause notice to him under the provisions of the Act referred to above, there are various other alternative remedies also CWP NO.2474 OF 2006 1
available to the petitioner. We, therefore, decline to entertain the instant writ petition which has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
