Civil Writ Petition No. 2515 of 2006
Date of decision : 20.2.2006
Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jalandhar.
Coram: Hon'ble Mr.Justice J.S.Khehar
Hon'ble Mr. Justice S.N. Aggarwal
Present: Sh. P.S. Bawa, Advocate
for the petitioner.
J.S. Khehar, J. (Oral)
The petitioner is stated to have moved an application for transfer of Mini Bus permit No. 17/Mini/SC/Jal on Hoshiarpur to Kot Patial route. The solitary contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that no decision has been taken on the aforesaid application/representation dated 23.8.2005 (Annexure P-2). The prayer in the instant writ petition is, therefore, limited, namely, to require the respondent i.e. Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jalandhar to take a final decision on the aforestated application/representation dated 23.8.2005 (Annexure P-2).
In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioner, we consider it just and appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petition by directing the respondent i.e.
Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Jalandhar to take a final decision on the application/representation of the petitioner dated 23.8.2005 (Annexure P-2), by passing a well reasoned speaking order within two months from the date a certified copy of this order is received.
Disposed of accordingly.
Order dasti on payment of usual charges.
