This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking grant of bail in case FIR No. 229 dated 15.5.2003 registered under section 15 of the NDPS Act registered in Police Station Shimlaapuri, Ludhiana.
At the time of issuance of notice of motion, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his prayer to the extent that the petitioner shall be satisfied in case the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously.
The learned State Counsel on 17.2.2006 had stated that only one witness remained to be examined by the prosecution before the trial Court.
Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with the direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously on or before 31.7.2006.
