The prayer made in the instant writ petition is for the issuance of a writ of mandamus so as to direct the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Ferozepur to frame joint regular time table on Faridkot- Kotkapura-Moga route after giving proper frequency of times to the existing operators. In this behalf the petitioner is stated to have moved a representation dated 8.2.2006 (Annexure P4).

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitoner will be satisfied if the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent i.e. the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Ferozepur, to take a final decision on the representation dated 8.2.2006 (Annexure P4)..

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioner, we consider it just and appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petition by directing respondent i.e. the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Ferozepur, to take a final CWP NO.4313 OF 2006 2

decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 8.2.2006 (Annexure P4) by passing a well reasoned speaking order within two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Disposed of accordingly.

Order dasti on payment of usual charges.
