Learned State counsel has placed on record a copy of the communication dated 18.4.2006, showing that the State Government has issued the advice that the petitioners may be allowed/granted the un-revised pay scale of Rs. 1200-2040 and corresponding revised pay scale of Rs. 4000-6000 if they fulfil the conditions as envisaged by the instructions issued by the Finance Department, dated 26.7.1991.
The petitioners are to be granted the pay scale in the same terms as has been granted to the similarly situated petitioners by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in S.L.P. No. 6402 of 2003. The necessary directions have been issued to the concerned quarter on 17.4.2006.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition by submitting that some time-bound directions be issued to the respondents.
In view of above, the petition is dismissed as not pressed. The letter dated 18.4.206 is retained on record as Mark-A.
The needful shall now be done within a period of four months from today.
