JUDGMENT:

It is an admitted position that Hon'ble the Supreme Court has stayed the instant contempt proceedings vide order dated 29.8.2003. A copy of the order passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court has been placed on record as Annexure R-1.

When the matter came up for consideration on 18.3.2004, it was adjourned sine die. However, the situation continues to be the same.

In view of the above, no adjudication is possible. Therefore, the contempt petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to file fresh petition on the same cause of action, if such a necessity arises.
