An affidavit has been filed in Court today and a copy thereof shall be furnished to the counsel opposite. Accordingly to the averments made in the affidavit, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition have been stayed by Hon'ble the Supreme court (Annexure R-1). Therefore, no adjudication is possible in these proceedings. Rule is discharged. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to file fresh petition on the same cause of action, if such a necessity arises.
