J.S.Khehar, J. (Oral) :
A perusal of the order sheet passed in this case reveals that the following order was passed on 13.05.2003 :- "Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has expired and prays for time to take steps in accordance with law. Adjourned sine die. To be listed as and when needful is done."
Despite the aforesaid, no steps have been taken at the hands of the learned counsel for the petitioner to implead the legal representatives of C.W.P.No.14623 of 2001 : 2 :
the petitioner. Even on the last date of hearing, no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Today again, none represents the petitioner.
In view of the above, we are satisfied that the petitioner is no longer interested to pursue the instant writ petition, which is, accordingly, dismissed for reasons of non-prosecution.
