CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AJAI LAMBA

It is not in dispute that the matter is covered in favour of the petitioner by a Division Bench judgment of this Court being Gokal Deep Mehta & Others Versus State of Punjab & Others, 1992(5) SLR 269. The judgment in Gokal Deep Mehta's case (supra) has also been filed in Civil Writ Petition No.19442 of 2002, Surinder Kaur & Others Versus State of Punjab & Anr., decided on 13.5.2004.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the other cases which have been decided in the same terms are Civil Writ Petition No.14283 of 2004, Rekha Ohri & Others Versus State of Punjab & C.W.P. NO.1770 OF 1987
Others, decided on 28.4.2005 and Civil Writ Petition No.5789 of 2000, Santosh Kumari Versus State of Punjab & Others, decided on 25.4.2006.
In view of the above, the writ petition deserves to be disposed of in the same terms. The case is therefore allowed in terms of Gokal Deep Mehta's case (supra).
