JASBIR SINGH,J: (ORAL)
Reply on behalf of respondent Nos.7 and 8 has been filed today in Court. It is taken on record.
In this writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that the State Vigilance Bureau is not competent to initiate any action/inquiry against him. To say so, reliance has been placed on instructions issued by the State of Punjab vide Annexures P-6 and P-7, wherein it has been so stated. Shri P.S.Chhinna, when confronted with these documents, very fairly states that the inquiry against the petitioner shall not be conducted by the Vigilance Bureau/respondent Nos.7 and 8.
In view of the statement made above, the writ petition has become infructuous and is disposed of as such.
