The petitioners approached this Court by way of CWP No.3098 of 2005 which was disposed of on February 25, 2005 with the direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 06.01.2005 by passing a speaking order within a period of two months.
Non compliance of the aforesaid said order led the petitioners to initiate this contempt proceeding.
In response to the show cause notice, Mr. K.K. Khandelwal, IAS, Commissioner & Director General School Education, Haryana, Chandigarh, has filed an affidavit along with which he has attached copy of the speaking order dated 14/20th
October, 2005 (Annexure R-1). Vide said speaking order, the petitioners' claim has been disposed of.
Having regard to the fact that the directions issued by this Court have been complied with, no further action is required in this contempt proceeding which is accordingly disposed of, with liberty to the petitioners to impugn the speaking order, referred to above, if so advised before the appropriate forum.
Rule is discharged.
