Present : Mr. Gurcharan Dass, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has roped in on account of his matrimonial dispute with the complainant. The complainant sought to abort the foetus she was carrying. The petitioner filed an application before the Superintendent of Police (D),Ropar. The Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, Mohali, raided Singla Nursing Home and a dead female foetus was recovered. Accordingly, an FIR was registered against the concerned doctors. It is contended that the present FIR has been lodged as a counter blast to the aforementioned FIR.
At this stage, Mr.J.S. Gill, Advocate, puts in appearance on behalf of the complainant and vehemently opposes the present petition.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on interim anticipatory bail by the Arresting Officer to his satisfaction, subject to the following conditions :- i)that he shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required ;
ii)that he shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer; iii)that he shall not leave India without the previous permission of the Court.
