The prayer made in the writ petition is for quashing seniority lists dated 23.12.2005 and 21.11.2005 (P-4 & P-5) vide which juniors have been shown senior to the petitioner. A further prayer has been made for directing respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to determine seniority of the petitioner over and above her juniors from the date of appointment i.e. 1.10.1980.
For the aforementioned relief claimed in the present writ petition, the petitioner has already represented to the respondents through her counsel on 22.11.2006 (P-2).
Without going into the merits of the case, we deem it just and appropriate to direct the respondents to pass final order on the communication dated 22.11.2006 (P-2) sent by the counsel for the C.W.P. No. 10517 of 2006
petitioner, preferably within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented to them. If the claim of the petitioner is found to be meritorious and decided in her favour then the benefit accruing to the petitioner shall be disbursed within a further period of three months thereafter. It shall be appreciated if a speaking order is passed.
Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
