On the asking of Court, Shri Ashok Jindal, Additional Advocate General, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
A primary grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are levying compound interest which is contrary to the judgments of Division Bench of this Court in Gian Inder Sharma v.
HUDA 2003 (1) RCR (Civil) 297 and Roochira Ceramics v. HUDA and others 2001 (1) PLJ 109.
From the perusal of the record, we find that the petitioner has already filed a representation dated February 15, 2006 (Annexure P.2) claiming the aforesaid relief. However, the said representation remains unresponded.
Consequently, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Estate Officer, HUDA, Karnal to take a final decision on the aforesaid representation (Annexure P.2) filed by the petitioner within a period of four months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
