Joginder Kumar and Ors. v. Suresh Kumar Goel - COCP-919-2005 RD-P&H 4170 (14 July 2006)
C.O.C.P. No.919 of 2005
Date of Decision:20.7.2006
Joginder Kumar and ors. .....Petitioners vs.
Suresh Kumar Goel .....Respondent
Present:- Mr.Karamveer Singh, Advocate for Mr.R.K.Malik, Advocate for the petitioners.
Mr.R.D.Sharma, DAG, Haryana for the respondent.
The petitioners filed C.W.P.No.3118 of 2005 claiming directions for their promotion as Safai Daroga. The said writ petition was disposed of on 25.2.2005 with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Sonepat to take a decision on the legal notice by passing a well reasoned speaking order within three months.
Alleging non-compliance, the petitioners have filed this contempt petition.
In response to the show cause notice, Mr.Suresh Kumar Goyal, Director Land Records and Consolidation of Holdings, Haryana has filed an affidavit and along with the said affidavit, a copy of the speaking order dated 2.6.2005 passed by the Secretary, Municipal Council, Sonepat has been appended as Annexure R-1/T.
It is not disputed that petitioner No.1 has been held entitled and consequently promoted also. Turn of petitioner Nos.2 and 3 for such promotion is, however, yet to come.
In this view of the matter, no further action is called for in this petition which is accordingly disposed of.
