On 8.2.1990, learned counsel for the petitioner has sought time to file amended petition. Hearing was deferred sine die to put the case for hearing as and when amended petition was filed.

A period of about more than 16 years has gone by, no amended petition has been filed. Therefore, it is not possible to adjudicate on the issues raised.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
