STATE OF PUNJAB AND ORS. ...RESPONDENTS
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH MOHUNTA.
HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE NIRMAL YADAV.
PRESENT: MR. KULDEEEP V. SINGH, ADVOCATE FOR THE PETITONERS.
ASHUTOSH MOHUNTA, J. (ORAL)
The petitioners have impugned the orders Annexures P- 12 and P-13 by which the petitioners have been ordered to be evicted from the land in dispute. A perusal of the impugned orders show that vide notification dated 3.5.1988, issued by the Punjab Government the land in dispute has been declared as protected forest area and therefore, this area could not be used for any other purpose then as forest area. The petitioners are in illegal occupation over this land of which they cannot be allowed to use the same.
We find no infirmity in the orders of eviction passed by Deputy Commissioner exercising the powers of Commissioner.
No merit. Dismissed.
