Mr. Khosla, learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 & 3 has filed an affidavit of the Additional Chief Administrator-cum-Land Acquisition Collector, PUSA, Jalandhar, wherein, it has been averred that the Notifications dated 30.5.2006 and 1.6.2006 are being withdrawn for technical reasons in order to avoid legal complication. It is further submitted by Mr. Khosla, that the public purpose for which the land was acquired still survives and the land may be notified in future.
In view of the affidavit filed by the Land Acquisition Collector, PUDA, Jalandhar, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
