Learned counsel for the respondents states that respondents have instructed him to make a statement that the prayer made by the petitioner is acceptable to them as the same is covered by the view taken by the Supreme Court in the case of Raj Kumar and others v. UOI JT 2006(1) SC 49(Annexure P.7). He further states that a period of eight weeks would be required to comply with all the directions and for payment of arrears to the petitioner.
In view of the above statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction that the needful shall be done within a period of eight weeks from today.
