CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINEY MITTAL
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.N.JINDAL
PRESENT: Shri Rajeev Anand, Advocate for the petitioners.
The petitioners have made a grievance against the withdrawal of freedom fighters pension which they were receiving earlier.
From the perusal of the record, we find that no orders withdrawing/cancelling the aforesaid pension to the petitioners have been annexed with the present petition.
In these circumstances, it is not possible for this Court to adjudicate upon the merits of the controversy and to find out as to whether the petitioners were indeed entitled to freedom fighters pension or not. The petitioners may approach the competent authority for issuance of the orders of cancellation/withdrawal of freedom fighters pension. We also direct that if the petitioners file the requisite application for obtaining the copies of the cancellation/withdrawal orders, then the same shall be supplied to them in accordance with law
within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of the application. On receipt of the aforesaid orders, the petitioners may seek such other appropriate remedies, which are available to them, in accordance with law.
Disposed of accordingly.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
