Notice of motion to the respondents.
On the asking of Court, Shri Sukhdip Singh Brar, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
A copy of the writ petition has been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondent.
The petitioners have approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondent to award diploma in Ophthalmology.
The petitioners claim that they have already completed successfully two years diploma course replaying certificate of training course of Ophthalmic Assistants.
From the perusal of the record, we find that a legal notice (Annexure P.9) dated August 22,2005 has already been served by the petitioners which remained unresponded.
Consequently, we dispose of the present petition with a request to the Principal Secretary, Research and Medical Education Department, Punjab, respondent to take a final decision on the aforesaid legal notice within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
