On the asking of Court, Shri Sukhdip Singh Brar, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of directions to the respondents to issue registration certificate of series PB-02-AS-0001 to the petitioner for which the petitioners claims to have deposited the requisite amount.
From the perusal of the record, we find that the petitioner has already issued a legal notice dated July 10,2006 (Annexure P.2) which remains unresponded.
Consequently, without commenting upon the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the State Transport Commissioner, Punjab, respondent No.2 to take a final decision on the legal notice (Annexure P.2) and take such appropriate action as may be required, in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date a certified copy of this order is received, by passing a detailed and speaking order.
