CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINEY MITTAL
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S.BHALLA
PRESENT: Shri M.S.Lobana, Advocate for the petitioner.
Viney Mittal,J.(Oral).
Notice of motion to the respondents No.1 to 4.
On the asking of Court, Shri Sukhdip Singh Brar, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 4.
Copies of the writ petition have been supplied to the learned counsel for the respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner is against the action of the respondents whereby the respondent No.5 has been allotted the contract with regard to holding of cattle fairs. It has been maintained by the petitioner that he intended to offer higher bid but was prevented by persons of respondent No.5 in connivance with certain unsocial elements.
From the perusal of the record, we find that the petitioner has already filed a representation dated July 12, 2006 (Annexure P.2) which remains unresponded.
Consequently, without going into the merits of the controversy and the various pleas raised by the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition with a direction to the Director, Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, respondent No.2 to take a final decision upon representation (Annexure P.2) within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is received, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all concerned including respondent No.5.
A copy of the order be given dasti on payment of usual charges.
