CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JASBIR SINGH
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRITAM PAL
Present: None for the petitioner
Jasbir Singh, J. (Oral)
In this writ petition, dispute pertains to the suspension order passed against the petitioner on 1.2.2000. Against that order, admittedly, appeal is competent. No appeal was filed. However, the order was challenged in this writ petition. On 9.3.2000, following order was passed by this Court:
"Bar is abstaining from work. On 22.2.2000 the hearing of the case was adjourned for today's date to enable the petitioner to place on record the relevant financial rules.
As per the office report needful has not been done.
Consequently, the relevant financial rules on which the petitioner intends to rely are yet to be placed on record. In this view of the matter we adjourn this case sine die with a direction to the office to list the case for motion hearing after the relevant financial rules have been filed by the petitioner in this case."
Nothing has been done thereafter. Despite notice, none has come present to assist this Court on behalf of the petitioner even today. In the meantime, term of the Gram Panchayat has also expired.
