The petitioner filed Crl.Misc.No.54020-M of 2004 which was disposed of on November 17, 2004 with a direction to Investigating Officer to complete the investigation in respect of F.I.R.No.148 dated 12.7.2001, if not already completed as per law and the needful was required to be done within six weeks.
Alleging non-compliance of the above-stated order, this contempt petition has been filed.
In response to the show cause notice, Mr.K.K.Rao, Superintendent of Police, Jhajjar has filed his affidavit and in para 4 thereof, it has been categorically stated that the matter has already been investigated and the dispute having been found of civil nature, a cancellation report has been prepared by the SHO concerned and submitted before the Illaqa Magistrate on September 15, 2005 in which notice was also issued to the petitioner/complainant.
In this view of the matter, no further action is required to be taken in this petition which is accordingly disposed of.
Rule stands discharged.
