This petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner under the Ex-gratia Employment Scheme of the Government of Haryana, as per notification dated 18.11.2005 (P-1).

For the relief claimed in the instant petition, the C.W.P. No. 13390 of 2006

petitioner has already sent a legal notice, dated 14.4.2006 (P-8) to the respondents.

Without going into the merits of the case, we deem it just and appropriate to direct the respondents to take cognizance of the legal notice, dated 14.4.2006 (P-8) sent by the petitioner and decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented to them. If the claim of the petitioner is found to be meritorious and decided in his favour then the benefit accruing to him shall be disbursed within a further period of three months thereafter. It shall be appreciated if a speaking order is passed keeping in view the Ex-gratia Employment Scheme issued vide notification dated 18.11.2005 (P-1).

Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
